• Deliver individualized therapy sessions using innovative and evidence-based treatment modalities that align with client needs.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the mental health challenges faced by clients, developing tailored treatment plans that target their specific goals.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, creating a safe space where clients can express their feelings and experiences.
• Establish collaborative therapeutic goals with clients and monitor their progress through regular check-ins and adjustments to the treatment plan as necessary.
• Provide teletherapy solutions, ensuring accessibility for clients who may face mobility challenges or prefer virtual sessions.

As a mental health counselor at Jewish Family Care Therapy, you will work with a diverse array of clients, including individuals, couples, families, children, and adolescents. We prioritize culturally competent care, providing specialized services to clients of color and the LGBTQIA community. Your role will include utilizing trauma-informed care practices to address the unique experiences and backgrounds of our clients, enhancing their path to recovery.

• Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Current state-issued license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A minimum of two years of full-time counseling experience focused on mental health care.

• Demonstrated experience working with couples, children, teens, and families.
• Previous engagement with clients from diverse backgrounds, including those identifying as part of the LGBTQIA community.
