Job description

JOB SPECIFICS

  • Busy urology group is seeking additional urologist for patient care. Join a well-established team of urologists, advanced practice providers, and dedicated surgical techs.
  • Strong APP support: They handle inpatient large amount of rounding and clinic visits, allowing you to focus more on surgery.
  • Call is shared equally among the urologists. Most holiday coverage is handled by a part-time urologist.
  • Faculty Opportunity to Build Urology Residency Program
  • High quality medical services using robotic and laparoscopic surgical skills. Three daVinci robotics available for use at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center, Peoria, Illinois.
  • A major teaching affiliate of the University of Illinois, College of Medicine at Peoria, OSF partners with both residency and fellowship programs. It is the area's only Level 1Trauma Center.
  • Referral support from a large multi-specialty group and robust hospitalist group.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Physician Licensed to practice medicine in current state.
  • Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.
  • Board certified or board eligible in Urology. Obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges.
  • Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
  • Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.

Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care aligned to the preferences, goals, and needs of the patients served

Full time, clinical base salary pay range for this position: $625,000--$680,912. Range shown should be used as an estimate and can be impacted by many factors including but not limited to the critical need of the position, overall experience and qualifications, community need, and other considerations.
