Lawyers on Demand (LOD), a Consilio company, is assisting a global Am Law 100 firm in seeking an experienced Emerging Growth & Venture Capital Attorney to join its Palo Alto office on a long‑term, temporary basis. This is a fully onsite role requiring daily presence in the office.

Role Details
  • Start: ASAP
  • Duration: 6–12 months, with potential for extension or conversion to a permanent role
  • Hours: Full‑time, 40 hours per week
  • Location: Onsite – Palo Alto, CA
  • Compensation: Starting at $120/hour, commensurate with experience
Responsibilities
  • Support a firm partner on a variety of emerging growth and venture capital matters
  • Draft term sheets, client engagement letters, and related transactional documents
  • Assist with venture financings, M&A transactions, and capital markets matters
  • Provide general support across corporate and securities transactions
  • Collaborate with attorneys and clients in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment
Candidate Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in emerging growth & venture capital or related corporate transactional work
  • Prior experience as an associate at a large law firm strongly preferred
  • Background in venture financings, M&A, capital markets, and corporate transactions
  • Experience representing clients in life sciences, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, climate tech, AI, and/or therapeutics is a plus
  • Strong drafting, organizational, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment
  • Active license to practice law in any U.S. jurisdiction, in good standing
