Job description

Pediatric Home Service is a friendly and professional leader in home health care with a singular passion for and commitment to taking care of the child.   • Position: Service Specialist I
  • Hours: Full-time
  • Location: Roseville, MN
  • Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00am- 5:00pm. Some on-call weekends and evenings required.
    • Must have a Valid Driver's License

THE POSITION: Looking for more than a traditional delivery job? As a Service Specialist with PHS, you'll deliver and set up medical equipment for children and families in their homes. You'll spend your day on the road, working independently, teaching families how to use equipment such as oxygen and DME, and helping make sure medically complex kids have what they need to safely live at home

  • Establishes and maintains effective relationships with the patients, families and caregivers as well as all PHS employees.

  • Schedules and makes deliveries to patients homes in a timely manner.

  • Confirms delivery and reports potentially unsafe conditions.

  • Performs and instructs the initial set-up of oxygen and some DME.

  • Performs data entry functions to log customer visits, conversations and follow-ups.

  • Coordinates regular maintenance service to company vehicles.

  • Assists with warehouse duties and equipment processing as needed.

  • Manages time efficiently and be competent in estimating drive times.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • 12 years of work experience, preferably in customer service or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Comfortable lifting and moving medical equipment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Durable Medical Equipment (DME), home health, healthcare, or medical delivery
  • Delivery driving or route management experience
  • Warehouse experience

The majority of the clients we serve are ages birth through 21 years old and have a variety of technologies that might include a trach, ventilator or g-tube.

SALARY RANGE:
