Job description

Remote will ONLY be considered if a candidate possesses highly specific experience with Canvas to SharePoint migrations you must work in EST time zone.

Position will have a 37.5 hour work week, NOT a 40-hour work week, and candidates must be able to work alternative schedules (i.e. non-business hours for planned maintenance, upgrades, urgent troubleshooting, and/or migration activities that can't be done during normal business hours).

. You must be able to participate in web/video meetings as needed while remote.

This position is 6 months, with the option of extension, and the client is located in Concord, NH. However, this position is 100% remote.

Skill Required / Desired Amount of Experience

Direct, hands-on experience executing SharePoint data migrations (not just planning/oversight of migrations done by others) Required 8 Years

Hands-on, expert-level SharePoint Online administration and configuration (not just end-user usage) Required 8 Years

Specific experience migrating content from shared network drives and/or third-party SaaS platforms into SharePoint Online Required 5 Years

Direct hands-on experience with ShareGate for SharePoint data migrations Required 5 Years

Experience with Microsoft 365 / Modern Workplace tools as they integrate with SharePoint Online (Teams, OneDrive, Power Automate, Power Apps) Required 5 Years

Demonstrated techno-functional experience — i.e., has actually operated as a hybrid technical SME and business analyst, not purely a developer/admin. Required 6 Years

Experience in an SME role working with & presenting to all levels of leadership - end users to executives - without needing a technical intermediary Required 6 Years

Experience gathering, documenting, and translating business requirements from stakeholders into technical SharePoint specifications Required 6 Years

Experience developing SharePoint solution documentation (specifications, standards, procedures) Required 5 Years

Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 governance and compliance standards as applied to SharePoint (permissions, retention, information architecture) Required 3 Years

Exp driving user adoption of Modern Workplace tools across all levels of leadership & leading formal change initiatives tied to the technology rollout Required 3 Years

Exp designing and delivering training programs on SharePoint to non-technical end users both in-person and online (ex. Teams) as well as written. Required 5 Years

Prior experience migrating data to Sharepoint specifically from a Canvas LMS site Highly desired

Prior experience migrating data to Sharepoint from ANY LMS site Highly desired

Experience with SharePoint Online permission/governance frameworks specifically in a state/local government or public sector environment Highly desired

Experience with education-sector data systems or higher-ed/K-12 IT environments Nice to have

Familiarity with FERPA or similar data privacy/compliance requirements relevant to education data Nice to have
