SUMMARY:

Responsible for ensuring maximum guest service and satisfaction through the organization and supervision of assigned areas according to established Gaming department policies and procedures.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Strive to meet revenue goals by ensuring maximum guest service; ensure adequate staffing levels to meet these goals and remain with established budgets.
  • Knowledgeable of Marketing Promotions and Gaming events.
  • Arbitrate customer disputes.
  • Monitor, direct, supervise, and observe VLT action in Gaming Operations for adherence to company policies and various regulatory requirements.
  • Submit at the end of respective shifts all reports deemed necessary for the operation of the department.
  • Assign or make changes in assignments of team members on assigned shifts.
  • Assist the Sr. Manager of Gaming on preparing reports and other administrative responsibilities as assigned.
  • Assure that required facilities and equipment are available, clean, and functioning properly.
  • Establish and maintain effective channels of communication upward, downward, and laterally.
  • Make minor repairs to video lottery terminals on gaming floor.
  • Approve and verify VLT machine payouts and fills.
  • Perform jackpot payouts and fills.
  • May act as Managerial Representative on premises.
  • May conduct fund exchanges for guests during an emergency situation or as deemed necessary.
  • Maintain an updated knowledge of Gaming Laws/Regulations and internal controls applicable to areas of responsibility.
  • Safeguard company assets
  • Follow GuestPath Service Standards, Operational Service Standards, and SERVE expectations at all times.
  • Perform duties in a safe manner; report any potential safety hazards to management staff.
  • Perform any reasonable, temporarily assigned job duties outside the position's job description, where, in the Company's judgment, those duties are necessary in the interest of efficiency, productivity, or guest service.
