Position Overview:

The Game Presentation Assistant plays a crucial role in enhancing the fan experience and game entertainment for the Washington Capitals. This position involves assisting with the conception, planning, development, and execution of in-game show elements and secondary events. Key responsibilities include working with the Game Presentation department staff on idea generation, preparing game-day materials, and facilitating various components of the in-game show. The Game Presentation Assistant is required to work most pre-season, regular season, and playoff home games at Capital One Arena.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as Stage Manager during games, coordinating in-game elements from pre-game to post-game.
  • Collaborate with in-game hosts and high-profile personalities for promotions and recognition.
  • Work closely with the Game Presentation Manager and Coordinator to support and lead entertainment teams.
  • Act as the liaison between the Caps Crew and the Game Presentation staff during home games.
  • Assist with the setup and breakdown of interactive elements.
  • Assist with daily administration and organization of the Game Presentation department.
  • Contribute innovative ideas for in-game features and experiences.
  • Participate in rehearsals for various presentations such as player landmark ceremonies
  • Collaborate with internal departments to enhance theme nights.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to enhance the game-day experience.
  • Must be available for most Capitals home games, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Solid understanding of the Washington Capitals brand and hockey rules and regulations.
  • Previous experience in the sports or entertainment industry preferred.
  • Ability to perform in a fast paced environment and adapt quickly to new situations.
  • Professional demeanor at all times.
  • Self-starter, dedicated, and highly motivated.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to excel as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills and creativity.

Pay Range: $18.40 - $25 USD/hour
