Organization and Team Summary:

St. David's Center is regional leader in child and family development, working to create a healthy,vibrant society in which every member fully contributes to its success. We offer therapeutic, educational, and support services, including mental health and pediatric therapies, autism treatment, home visiting, an inclusivepreschool, and disability services. Over 4,000 children and families access these services at our two early intervention centers in Minneapolis and Minnetonka, more than 30 partner sites, and hundreds of homes across the community.
Our Community Relations and Development team is responsible for marketing, communication, public relations, advocacy, and fundraising for the organization. We hit enrollment targets, reach audiences with relevant information, position St. David's Center as a thought leader in child development and early intervention, advocate for changes in public policy to benefit children and families and raise $2.3 million annually.

Position Overview:

The Events and Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing and executing St. David'sCenter's events, including donor cultivation events and major fundraisers, professional trainings, parent/caregiver education events, and events that bring our families and community together. This role is also responsible for coordinating volunteers for the organization, both volunteer groups as well asindividual placements, including identifying needs, planning, posting, interviewing, selecting, onboarding, placing, monitoring, and recognizing their important contribution to the organization.

Schedule: Average of 30 hours per week, withfluctuations of 20-40 hours.

Compensation(Pay/Benefits): The pay range for this position is $26.43 to $29.36/hour, depending on qualifications and specifically years of experience. This position is benefits eligible, including health and dental insurance, health savings account with an employer contribution, flexible spending accounts, and retirement account with matching contribution. Job Qualifications: Education: BA in Marketing, Business, or related field.
Experience: At least three years of experience in events; at least one year of experience with volunteermanagement.
