Location: 

Hybrid: Employees who are able to perform the essential functions of their jobs away from an Elevations location may do so with the expectation that they are onsite at least fifty percent of the time over a two week pay period.

Summary/Objective: 

The Community Events Specialist will represent Elevations Credit union in assigned communities. The role is responsible for end-to-end implementation of field marketing initiatives, community development programs and events consistent with the Elevations brand, including projects that support reputation building, and financial wellness. A strong skillset in planning, prioritization, organization, and a member focused approach are essential to success in this role.

Essential Functions Include: 
  • Executes Elevations events and community sponsorships with an understanding of appropriate protocols, communication flow, and permissions required of internal and external collaborators and attendees.
    • This includes:
      Developing project timelines and task lists for each event and identifying needs from internal and external collaborators and attendees.
      Coordinating and scheduling all aspects of support needs from other Elevations high-impact opportunities and facilitating communication between outside partners and Elevations support.
      Coordinating and scheduling all aspects of virtual community commitments including; recruiting speakers, partnering with Brand Marketing in creating event related marketing assets.
      Event management: set up, facilitation, tear down and communication during event to ensure smooth operations and clear communication amongst supporting parties. 
  • Prioritizes responsibilities, actively problem solves, balances concurrent projects (simultaneous sponsorships, webinars, etc.) and meets deadlines
    • Exhibits high levels of accuracy and attention to detail while planning all aspects of event and partnership fulfillment including marketing asset coordination, invoice payment and tracking success metrics.
  • Provides creative and written support planning for the development and implementation of various community development marketing campaigns as needed.
  • Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders in a positive manner to drive business objectives of new member growth, member engagement and brand building as part of the bigger strategy.
      • Supports planning and execution of community events and education programs based on strategies developed by Director of Member Expansion
  • Maintains a working knowledge of all credit union products, services, and programs.

Required Skills, Education and Experience: 

Bachelor's degree in business, finance, marketing or equivalent work experience.
Minimum 2 years business development or outside sales experience, preferably in the financial services industry.
Work involves extensive personal contact with others and/or can be of a personal or sensitive nature. Must be comfortable operating in this environment.
Maintains an ability to motivate or influence others.
Demonstrated ability to develop and foster relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals)
Demonstrated ability to make sales presentations and speak effectively in front of groups.
Must be able to work a standard full-time schedule, with occasional evening and weekend hours as required

Work Environment:

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

Full Time/ 40 hours per week

Compensation:

The person hired into this position will likely earn between $64,430.47 and $81,788.09 per year, plus annual bonus.

Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted hiring range based on factors such as relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, licensure requirements and/or skill level, and will be finalized at the time of offer.

Anticipated Application Window:
