About the Job

The Event Director role is responsible for driving rental revenue while delivering an exceptional client experience from inquiry through event execution. This position plays a key role in building long-term client relationships, developing tailored rental solutions, and ensuring seamless communication between clients and internal teams. Success in this role directly contributes to event execution, client satisfaction, and overall business growth. This role works closely with Business Development, CAD, Inventory, Operations, and Sales Support teams to bring events to life successfully and efficiently.


What You’ll Do

  • Lead client discovery calls, showroom appointments, and site visits to identify event rental needs and opportunities
  • Build customized rental proposals and guide clients through product selections, creative solutions, and upsell opportunities
  • Proactively communicate with clients throughout the sales and planning process to ensure a seamless experience
  • Collaborate with CAD, Inventory, Operations, and Sales Support teams to develop accurate event scopes and execution plans
  • Ensure all contracts, event details, timelines, and client communications are accurate and finalized before execution
  • Maintain organized client records, event documentation, and internal notes within company systems
  • Partner with Business Development Managers and Sales Directors to support revenue growth and sales initiatives
  • Track project timelines, client requests, and event changes to ensure deadlines and expectations are met
  • Resolve client concerns and troubleshoot challenges with professionalism, urgency, and a solutions-focused mindset
  • Deliver exceptional service that fosters repeat business, referrals, and long-term client relationships
  • Support cross-functional communication by sharing client feedback, operational insights, and event updates with leadership and internal teams

What You Bring

Required

  • 3+ years of experience in event rentals, hospitality, event planning, sales, or client relationship management
  • Strong knowledge of event rental products, event logistics, and client service best practices
  • Proven ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships while managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication, organization, time management, and follow-through skills
  • Strong sales and consultative problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments while remaining adaptable and detail-oriented
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM/order management systems
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and attend offsite meetings or site visits as needed
