Sterling Engineering is hiring a Controls Engineer for an innovative, fast-growing organization. This is a highly engaging role where you’ll work on modern control systems, automation projects, and new equipment integration—giving you hands-on exposure to PLCs, robotics, and system design from concept through commissioning. Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop control systems for automated machinery and equipment
  • Develop and implement PLC, HMI, and SCADA software for control systems
  • Conduct system testing, validation, and performance verification
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize control systems and automation processes
  • Perform routine maintenance, updates, and upgrades to control systems
  • Integrate new technologies and automation solutions into existing systems
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 1–5 years of experience in controls and automation engineering
  • Experience with PLC programming, troubleshooting, and system integration
  • Knowledge of HMI and SCADA systems
  • Proficiency with CAD software for control system design
  • Experience with programming languages such as ladder logic, C, or Python
