Job description

ServiceMASTER, the nation's leader in the disaster restoration services is seeking a Large Loss Restoration Techician for our Large Loss Division. The ideal candidate must be able to complete commercial restoration projects including water, fire, smoke damage, and construction. The ideal candidate must also be able to travel on short notice and be away from home for extended periods of time. DUTIES
Perform fire damage restoration, water and storm damage restoration, and other task in commercial buildings as assigned.
Perform demolition in commercial buildings.
Follow directions from the Large Loss Project Manager/Supervisor to ensure all work is performed in a satisfactory and timely manner.
Ensure that all work is performed in a safe manner and all safety rules are followed.
Perform assigned work in a timely manner and meet deadline.
Assist the Large Loss Project Manager and Supervisor in other tasks as assigned.
Ensure all daily paperwork is completed and turned into the Large Loss Supervisor.
Supervise temporary workers on jobsites.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must have good customer service skills.
Water, fire damage restoration experience is a plus.
Commercial construction experience is a plus.
Standing/walking for 7-8 hours a day.
Must have the ability to communicate with others in written and verbal form.
Must be able to work for long periods of time in extreme temperatures both hot and cold.
Must be able to work in an environment that has suffered fire, water and storm damage.
Must be able to travel on short notice and be away from home for extended periods of time.
Must pass a pre-employment drug test and have a clean background and driving record
Must have a valid driver's license
