Job description

Gould Killian CPA Group is seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and curious bookkeeper to join our Client Advisory Services (CAS) team! This team member will help oversee our client's financial data and compliance. They will collaborate with the CAS Team and other professional staff to provide clients with accurate, relevant, and timely information.
Responsibilities:
  • Bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations
  • Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable reconciliations
  • Payroll processing and filings (monthly, quarterly, annual)
  • 1099 Preparation
  • Sales Tax preparation and filings
  • Financial Reporting (monthly and year-end)
  • Business Tax Return preparation (limited)

Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in bookkeeping, payroll, and/or financial reporting
  • Proficient in QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and familiarity with GAAP
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in bookkeeping, payroll, and/or financial reporting
  • Associates or Bachelor's in Accounting or related field
