Connections in Ohio, Inc. is seeking a highly organized problem solver for a great opportunity! We are hiring a Registered Nurse to support our teams with the areas of medication administration training and medication management. This person must also be able to demonstrate and develop good habits in job completion and show an ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
This position does require flexible availability, a reliable vehicle, and a willingness to work within a team.
This is a part-time position, starting salary at $40.00 per hour for 15 - 20 hours per week. Connections offers competitive wages, generous paid leave, outstanding health benefits and a 401k plan.
Position Description:
The Registered Nurse is responsible for training staff and assistance with health and medical needs for company clients as needed.
Responsibilities:
• Provide Medication Administration Certification training to Direct Support Professional bi-weekly for two days.
• Assist with administering subcutaneous and intramuscular injections to company clients weekly as needed.
• Assist with other health related activities as needed in coordination with company full-time RN.
• Maintain " on call" responsibilities, including making decisions related to medication administration and health care needs
Qualifications:
  1. A current Registered Nurse license
  2. A current DoDD Trainer certification for Direct Support Professional Medication Passing course
  3. An ability to stay organized while managing multiple tasks
  4. Excellent communication skills.
  5. Proficient knowledge of iPhone, Windows, and Microsoft Office including:
    1. OneDrive
    2. Excel
    3. Word
    4. Routing texting/phone calls
    5. Google Calendar
  6. A valid Ohio driver's license with 4 points or less on the individual BMV driving record
  7. A safe, reliable vehicle coupled with state minimum required auto insurance covering that specific vehicle
