Symetra has an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Actuarial Associate I !About the roleThe Production Associate contributes to Symetra Bermuda Servicing Company’s (“SBSC’s” or “the company’s”) in force modeling processes and procedures. Reporting to the Production Lead, this person will create SBSC model outputs for a wide range of regulatory reporting. Check out our Symetra Benefits OverviewCompensationHourly Range: $72,700 – $121,100 plus eligibility for annual bonus programsWho you areBachelor's degree in actuarial science, finance, mathematics, or related technical field required.Proficient in PC utilization including spreadsheets and data management software.Demonstrated analytical abilities, problem solving, and analysis.Committed to self-development and learning actuarial concepts.Experience with common coding and visual software, such as Python, SQL, Power BI, and Power Query.Experience with modeling software, with emphasis on MG-ALFA / MG-Integrate modeling.Experience with AI coding tools a plus.Effective communication with manager required.Actuarial Student track with at least one exam passed.
