Survey Crew Chief Fly In & Out Fort McMurray


who, ideally, has experience in both Construction and Oilfield Survey sectors and has a desire to grow and learn with an innovative, forward-thinking company.


The Work:


  • Oilfield surveys including but not limited to wellsites, OSE programs, line locating, and pipelines
  • Construction surveys including but not limited to facilities, layout, piles and pile caps, and civil works
  • Willing and able to complete shift work lasting up to 21 days
  • Work is outdoors in all seasons and weather conditions
  • Follow safety protocol
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to survey assistants
  • Prepare clear, concise and accurate field notes, records and calculations


What you bring to the table:


  • Strong focus on relationships, both internal and external to Connexa
  • Desire for excellence in all that you do
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to liaise with clients
  • Creativity
  • A degree/diploma in Geomatics
  • Experience leading a survey crew
  • Experience performing legal surveys in the Alberta Township System
  • Experience working on both industrial construction sites and remote bush conditions
  • Experience with drones is an asset
