Primary Job Duties
SkyWest is hiring individuals to join our AOG and Expediting Team.
Starting pay $15.50 (Night Shift will receive $1 override)
Schedule is a 7-on/7-off rotation with 11-hour shifts. Day shift operates Friday through Thursday from 5:15 AM to 4:15 PM.
Primary Duties/ Responsibilites:
  • Responsible for systemwide coverage on parts needed for AOG aircraft / Low time MEL aircraft.
  • Coordinate with MX Stations to ship parts between locations for AOG / Low time MEL aircraft.
  • Coordinate the logistics for the movement of materials for AOG / MEL Needs.
  • Authorized to borrow or purchase parts from other airlines as needed.
  • Authorized to purchase directly from OEM's and vendors as needed.
  • Coordinate (approve) loans and accommodation sales to other airlines.
  • Expediting repaired and purchased parts for general and urgent aircraft maintenance.
  • Evaluate parts usage and distribute parts orders to nationwide bases for aircraft maintenance.
  • Compile reports regarding Repair Priority, AOG, backorder, etc.
  • Develop and maintain strong and professional vendor relationships.
  • Maintain proper paperwork compliance for purchases needing drop shipments and ensure proper receipt and trace is on file.
  • Work with MCC, MX Hangar and SMOD to determine possibility of robbing from aircraft in storage or C Check for AOG requirements when unable to expedite open orders in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for reviewing open MEL's to ensure planes routed into MX have inventory at site to clear discrepancies.
  • Work with vendors to expedite open orders for items deemed critical stock.
  • Assist other airlines in their AOG needs when it will not impact SkyWest operations.
  • Other duties to be assigned by manager/supervisor.

Minimum Requirements
  • Must be self-motivated and able to proactively identify and prevent potential operational disruptions due to lack of parts
  • Proficient working knowledge of PC and Windows applications, including Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Strong organizational skills and an aptitude to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Physical and Other Requirements
  • This position is on-site, with no remote work available. Must live in or be willing to relocate to St. George, UT.
  • Moderate noise (business office with computers, printers, light traffic, and group setting)
  • Sitting for extended periods in front of a computer and on the phone.
  • This is not a Department of Transportation safety-sensitive position
