Job OverviewThe Import/Export Administrator is responsible for supporting international trade and logistics activities while ensuring compliance with applicable import and export regulations. This role serves as a key liaison between customers, freight forwarders, suppliers, shipping teams, and internal departments to facilitate the timely and compliant movement of goods worldwide. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Responsibilities

  • 5+ years of experience in import/export administration, logistics, trade compliance, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of import/export classification, HTS codes, country of origin requirements, free trade agreements, and international trade regulations.
  • Working knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations, including Title 19 CFR.
  • Understanding of applicable import/export laws and regulations administered by government agencies.
  • Experience preparing and managing import/export documentation and regulatory filings.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external partners.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Experience working with ERP systems such as JD Edwards is preferred.
