Do you want to support business growth and provide solutions that meet the needs of Emsere’s Global Transport team? We are seeking a skilled Transport Specialist to join our dynamic team. Join us in shaping the future of clinical trials and making a meaningful impact in healthcare!


As a full-time Transport Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing inbound transportation activities, ensuring shipments are handled efficiently, compliantly, and delivered on time. You will act as the primary point of contact for import-related transport activities and work closely with internal stakeholders, carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and our global offices.


Following a successful onboarding period, the role will gradually expand to include support for outbound transport activities, providing greater flexibility and business continuity within the Global Transport team.

This role also offers a unique long-term development opportunity. Over time, you will have the opportunity to develop your knowledge and expertise in outbound operations through hands-on training and mentoring, enabling you to become an all-round Transport Specialist supporting both import and outbound activities. This is a role that works collaboratively as part of both a local and global team in North America.


What will you do?

  • Coordinate and monitor international inbound shipments.
  • Arrange collections and deliveries with approved carriers and logistics partners.
  • Track shipments and proactively manage transport exceptions.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain transport and customs documentation.
  • Liaise with internal departments, carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable transport and import regulations.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies.
  • Support colleagues within the Global Transport team.
  • Gradually take on outbound transport responsibilities following the training period.


Qualifications

  • Relevant Bachelor’s degree or equivalent working proficiency through documented experience. 
  • Minimum of 3 years in an administrative/customer service environment
  • Fluent in English (verbal and writing)
