Position Summary

Cirrascale is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to lead all logistics operations supporting our rapidly growing AI cloud infrastructure and mission-critical data centers. This role is responsible for the strategic planning, execution, and continuous improvement of domestic and international transportation, receiving, warehouse operations, high-value asset handling, and customer equipment logistics.

The Logistics Manager will oversee the safe, secure, and timely movement of GPU systems, servers, networking equipment, storage, racks, and supporting infrastructure while ensuring operational excellence, inventory accuracy, regulatory compliance, and exceptional customer service.

This position works closely with Procurement, Asset Management, Data Center Operations, Engineering, Security, Finance, Project Management, and third-party logistics providers to ensure all shipments are executed efficiently and securely.

Key Responsibilities Logistics Operations
  • Lead all inbound, outbound, and inter-site logistics operations across multiple data center locations.
  • Develop logistics strategies that support AI infrastructure growth and customer deployments.
  • Ensure on-time delivery of mission-critical equipment while minimizing transportation costs.
  • Oversee domestic and international shipments, including imports, exports, customs documentation, and freight coordination.
  • Coordinate expedited, oversized, and high-priority shipments for customer deployments.
  • Establish logistics standards, KPIs, and service level agreements (SLAs).
Transportation Management
  • Manage relationships with freight carriers, third-party logistics (3PL) providers, customs brokers, and specialized transportation vendors.
  • Coordinate air, ocean, rail, and ground transportation.
  • Optimize routing, carrier selection, and freight costs.
  • Ensure proper shipment scheduling and dock management.
  • Manage transportation escalations and resolve shipment issues.
  • Monitor carrier performance and compliance with contractual obligations.

Project Logistics
  • Support large-scale customer deployments and data center expansion projects.
  • Develop logistics plans for infrastructure buildouts and migrations.
  • Coordinate equipment deliveries with construction, engineering, and deployment teams.
  • Manage project timelines to ensure materials arrive as scheduled.
  • Identify logistics risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Security & Risk Management
  • Develop secure transportation procedures for high-value assets.
  • Maintain chain-of-custody documentation throughout the shipping process.
  • Coordinate with Security teams for sensitive shipments.
  • Ensure compliance with customer security requirements.
  • Investigate shipping discrepancies, damage claims, and loss events.
  • Develop business continuity and contingency plans for logistics disruptions.
  • Evaluate and onboard transportation providers.
  • Negotiate freight contracts and pricing agreements.
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews with logistics partners.
  • Monitor vendor performance against KPIs and SLAs.
  • Coordinate insurance claims and damage investigations.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 7+ years of logistics, transportation, or supply chain management experience.
  • 3+ years managing logistics operations within a data center, technology, manufacturing, or mission-critical environment.
  • Experience managing both domestic and international shipments, including customs documentation and broker coordination.
  • Experience with high-value equipment transportation.
  • Experience managing third-party logistics (3PL) providers and freight carriers.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management.
  • Experience with ERP and Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
  • Proven leadership and team management experience.

Salary Range (HR ONLY)

The base salary range for the Logistics Manager is $110,000 to $120,000 USD. This pay range reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay range for this job for the location for which it has been posted. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications, location where the role is to be performed, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
