Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager on our growing Solar market team. This is an opportunity to join Westwood's highly experienced and dynamic team dedicated to providing high-quality professional services to our clients.
In addition to scope, schedule, and budget management, the Project Manager is the primary client contact for projects: building lasting relationships across the industry, generating repeat work, and providing guidance for successful project execution.
Our ideal candidate will have 5+ years of engineering or related professional services consulting experience.

What You'll Be Doing:
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive engineering and permitting projects. The Project Manager also provides leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
Your key responsibilities will include:
• Manage stakeholder relationships (internal and external).
• Coordinate and manage project teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
• Develop and implement project plans and schedules, monitoring progress and making adjustments as needed.
• Oversee project work and ensure deliverables meet quality standards and contractual obligations.
• Track project health and take corrective action when necessary.
• Manage uncertainty and change, such as scope creep and change orders.
• Ensure timely invoicing and accounts receivable collection.
What You'll Bring:
• Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, or project management related field
• 2-6 years of experience in a project coordinator, project manager, or similar role
• Professional licensure in a technical field, PMP, or related certification (or ability to obtain)
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Proficiency in project management software and tools
• Attention to detail
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Knowledge of project management principles and methodologies
• Track record of successfully winning and delivering projects
• Experience preparing proposals, scopes of work and qualification packages
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
