Job description

The Implementation Analyst is responsible for performing implementation tasks and partnering with our Project Managers to deliver accurate and timely solutions on our projects. The Analyst will participate in projects from a post-sales status through the implementation process until the customer is live on the ERP platform. As an Implementation Analyst, you will have ownership of project tasks, including system configuration, business process consultation, data transformation, testing, training, and software launches. Additionally, you will partner with our team to deliver implementations, drive strategic customer projects, and participate in cross-functional teams to set up customers for success.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
  1. Ensure customer's absolute success! - Use your knowledge of our software and industry best practices to help our customers implement our software.
  2. Lead and/or participate in project kick-off, business process review, data transformation, procedure development, training, and go-live.
  3. Lead and/or participate in weekly status calls with customers, discussing project status, best practices, and progress towards implementation completion.
  4. Serve as primary customer contact on assigned projects.
  5. Use knowledge of DMSi products and other knowledge resources to support the configuration of the ERP platform to meet customer needs.
  6. Utilize DMSi's internal project management, customer support and knowledge tools.
  7. Participate in specialized teams, workgroups, or value-added areas like Power Teams.
  8. Lead, attend and assist with training for internal personnel, customers, and prospects.
  9. Work to develop deep industry knowledge and how it translates into our ERP platform.
  10. Work to become a Subject Matter Expert on aspects of our ERP platform.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:Understanding of ERP System concepts; understand business processes, firm grasp of accounting principles and procedures.
Strong verbal and written communication skills for training, emails, documentation, presentations, etc.
Good analytical, logical, research and problem-solving skills.
Ability to apply Project Management principles and utilize DMSi's project methodology to provide and manage professional services.
Ability to positively interact with all levels of the company and with others outside the company.
Ability to maintain a high degree of tact, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Travel to customer locations including overnight, business air travel, and car rental.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, MIS, or equivalent work experience.
WORK EXPERIENCE AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Normal office environment with use of computers and telephone systems; no unusual physical demands.
Travel to customer locations including overnight, business air travel, and car rental.
