Position Summary
The Implementation Analyst I collaborates with business units to understand integration requirements and designs efficient solutions to connect various applications and systems. This position implements data mapping, transformation, and validation to facilitate successful integration. The Implementation Analyst I reports to the Infrastructure Manager and provides excellent service and support while demonstrating the Company's values and supporting the mission.
Position Duties & Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with business units to understand integration requirements and design efficient solutions
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews and discovery sessions to gather, document, and validate business and technical requirements
  • Complete gap analysis and current-state mapping; analyze current-state processes and recommend future-state improvements
  • Identify and establish the scope and parameters of requirements analysis on a project-by-project basis, including project impact, outcome criteria, and metrics
  • Analyze and verify requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards
  • Translate conceptual user requirements and business needs into functional requirements for vendors, developers, and project teams
  • Develop process and system requirements and communicate them to vendors and stakeholders as needed
  • Assist with implementation of banking applications, digital banking systems, payment solutions, and operational technologies
  • Coordinate implementation activities between business units, vendors, and technology teams
  • Participate in project planning, milestone tracking, issue management, and change proposal assessment
  • Assess change proposals and assist in defining solutions that achieve organizational goals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, system administrators, business analysts, end users, customers, outside consultants, application engineers, and technicians to facilitate successful integrations
  • Support integration testing between systems and participate in the validation of purchased solutions to verify features and functions are enabled and optimized based on specified requirements
  • Continuously monitor implementations and proactively address potential issues
  • Escalate implementation issues and coordinate resolutions
  • Verify implementations adhere to security standards, regulatory compliance requirements, banking regulations, internal procedures, and internal controls
  • Implement security measures such as data encryption and access controls to protect sensitive information during integration
  • Validate system controls and user access requirements
  • Support audit requests and compliance reviews
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of implementation processes, configurations, protocols, procedures, workflow diagrams, implementation records, and project artifacts
  • Create training materials and assist in training end users and support staff on integration processes and best practices
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer activities
  • Serve as liaison between business units, vendors, and internal technology teams
  • Participate in vendor meetings and solution reviews
  • Monitor vendor deliverables and implementation timelines
  • Assist with communicating upcoming product releases to impacted business units
  • Assist with negotiations of third-party contracts and agreements as needed
  • Evaluate, research, and recommend industry solutions, technologies, and tools that improve efficiency, scalability, cost effectiveness, digital products, and stakeholder experience
  • Assist in defining implementation standards and guidelines for the organization
  • Responsible for reporting on implementation status, key metrics, dashboards, and improvement opportunities
  • Share insights and recommendations with team members and management to drive continuous improvement
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, participating in professional associations, and attending requested training
  • Adhere to all federal bank regulations and laws, including those for consumer protection and the Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering Program
  • Participate in outside community activities as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, information systems or related field preferred
  • 1 year of previous experience in IT application development, technical software design, and development, or other directly related experience
  • Previous bank experience preferred
  • Agile, Project Management (PMI-BPA, PMI-ACP, CSPO), or Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt Certification preferred
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office and other standard software applications
  • Ability to perform testing, including planning, documenting, and knowledge transfer as directed
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and initiative to see problems through completion
  • Ability to communicate with team members, customers, and vendors in a clear, concise and professional manner
  • Ability to work closely and effectively in a multi-faceted team environment consisting of technicians, engineers, vendors, consultants, and customers
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while accomplishing daily tasks
