Your Mission
The Registered Nurse (RN) plays a critical role in promoting and maintaining a safe and healthy workplace by delivering comprehensive occupational health services. This includes assessing health risks, providing primary and emergency care, managing work-related injuries and illnesses, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. The RN supports employee wellness through education, preventive measures, and fitness-for-work evaluations, while also performing clinical tasks such as wound care, immunizations, and diagnostic testing. Additionally, the RN oversees medical resources, maintains accurate health records, and participates in health and safety initiatives to reduce workplace hazards and foster a culture of well-being.
Schedule will be Monday-Friday 6:30AM-5:00PM, with weekend shifts will be required at times on a rotational basis.
How You'll Contribute
As a Registered Nurse, you'll play a vital role in creating a safe, healthy, and thriving workplace for all employees. In this dynamic position, you'll combine clinical expertise with proactive health and safety leadership to make a real impact:
  • Deliver comprehensive health and safety services, including occupational, primary, and emergency medical care.
  • Assess health risks, promote wellness, prevent injuries, and protect employees from workplace and environmental hazards.
  • Provide expert advice and support for occupational health and injury management to ensure successful resolution of health-related issues.
  • Administer first aid and perform wound care, including cleaning and bandaging.
  • Draw blood, urine, and other samples for lab work; provide immunizations to employees.
  • Evaluate employee health, provide initial diagnoses, and determine fitness for work; train others in these services.
  • Manage case files for injury/illness, travel preparation, and occupational evaluations.
  • Use Electronic Medical Records systems to maintain accurate and up-to-date health documentation.
  • Monitor hospitalized personnel and coordinate diagnostic testing or medical imaging as needed.
  • Educate employees on preventing and controlling workplace injuries and illnesses.
  • Conduct health screenings, analyze data to identify workplace exposures, and recommend improvements to management.
  • Coordinate Alcohol and Drug Use (ADU) testing, vision and hearing assessments.
  • Actively participate in Medical and Occupational Health (MOH) and Safety, Security, Health, and Environment (SSHE) committees and initiatives.
  • Manage clinic resources effectively, ensuring medical equipment is maintained and operational.
  • Oversee inventory of drugs, equipment, and consumables; ensure medications are properly stored and compliant with regulations.
  • Maintain controlled drug registers and adhere to all applicable laws and standards.
  • Carry out safe nursing practices in compliance with legislation, policies, and procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support health and safety objectives.
The Talent We're Looking For
  • Appropriately licensed, qualified, and registered as a RN to practice within the state of Texas
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • Occupational Medicine experience
  • 3 years of emergency/urgent care experience (minimum)
  • Certified as a Mental Health First Aid Instructor (Mental Health First Aid America certification)
  • Be proficient in physical examinations
  • Carry out safe standards of nursing care according to legislation, Standard Operating Project policies and procedures
  • Be current and certified in Advanced Life Support protocols
  • Plan and control clinic and equipment maintenance program
  • Performs other duties as required.
