Raytheon is seeking an experienced Material Program Manager (MPM) in support of the AMRAAM program located in Tucson, AZ. This Material Program Manager (MPM) role is responsible for managing supply chain tasks in support of Obsolescence. As an MPM, you will be the liaison between the program and the supply base, working to ensure material requirements are met for a franchise production program.
The MPM will manage relationships with several critical suppliers. The candidate should have demonstrated program management skills and will be directly accountable for ensuring overall program execution of materials management in support of our customers.
The candidate must also have financial acumen and experience with the management of EACs. They will ensure program success to cost/schedule/quality and manage supplier performance to meet program needs. To be successful, the candidate must be a self-starter, capable of developing and achieving organizational and program objectives, and must be able to successfully interface with all levels of internal management, including supplier management.
What You Will Do
  • Oversee performance of domestic supply bases to include performance, quality, affordability, and delivery
  • Develop and execute strategies to perform and meet the Program's needs and requirements
  • Lead robust and challenging negotiations across the supplier base to meet the Program objectives
  • Lead by influence in a matrixed organization
  • Provide accurate forecasting and realization of sales and additional financial metrics
  • Monitor and proactively address performance and financial metrics including those related to cost, schedule, quality, and EVMS
  • Provide ownership of the supplier management process including supplier performance, SCM metrics, Make/Buy Where strategy, strategic agreements, and communication of customer flow through requirements such as FAR/DFARS, ITAR, offset, public law, quality, warranty, etc.

Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a supply chain role such as procurement, MRP, receiving, cost estimating, and/or finance
  • Experience with supplier management and/or subcontract management
  • Experience using manufacturing or enterprise planning tools such as MRP (Kinaxis/ SAP/PRISM).
  • Experience working with or procuring Electronic Components, Circuit Cards Assy, Printed Wiring Boards, etc.

Qualifications We Prefer
  • Material sales forecasting experience
  • Experience negotiating multiple contract types (FFP, CP, etc)
  • Experience with government regulations (i.e., FAR/DFAR, ITAR/EAR, TINA, etc.)

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
