How will you make a difference as an Associate at Fragomen?

  • Develop an expert-level understanding of your client base and the industries you support as well as the firm's practice areas and services provided.
  • Assess eligibility of corporate foreign national employees for non-immigrant and immigrant visa status.
  • Work with client global mobility personnel to prepare petitions and applications for submission to government agencies for non-immigrant and immigrant foreign national employees.
  • Draft and prepare letters and legal documents, typically based on established precedents.
  • Conduct research to support client requests and projects.
  • Supervise the work of paralegal staff in record keeping and document preparation.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn and effectively implement guidance and direction offered by supervisors and experienced colleagues.
  • Proactively communicate with clients, within SLAs/team protocols and with a precise, efficient, thoughtful, and organized response.
  • Partner with colleagues to resolve client issues, share information, and support client projects.
  • Support clients in immigration program management and compliance.
  • Use firm technology accurately and in line with team and client protocols, ensuring accurate and complete data is entered.
  • Actively contribute to team meetings and firmwide activities.
  • Act as a source of advice and training to more junior colleagues, proactively sharing immigration knowledge and expertise.
  • Ensure self and team follow documented firm standards and policy to mitigate risk and ensure regulatory, operational and client compliance.
  • Other duties as required.
