Job description

Seize this exceptional opportunity to become an integral part of our thriving immigration law office with locations in Maryland and Virginia. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced bilingual paralegal to join our supportive legal team in Woodbridge, Virginia, on a full-time IN PERSON basis.
*This is not a remote position*
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 2 years of immigration experience;
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish, with proficiency in additional languages being a strong advantage;
  • Positive, welcoming, and professional demeanor;
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple administrative tasks;
  • Excellent writing skills and proficiency in English;
  • EOIR experience is mandatory (MCH & IH).

Responsibilities:
As a paralegal in our firm, you will be responsible for:
  • Ensuring effective communication within the firm and with external contacts;
  • Maintaining accurate record-keeping, scheduling meetings, and processing applications;
  • Utilizing Microsoft Office and learning new software as needed;
  • Supporting attorneys in the preparation, filing, and tracking of various immigration applications and petitions, and gathering supporting documents;
  • Other duties as assigned.
