Sr. Project Manager โ€“ National Industrial Team

Ryan Companies US, Inc. invites an experienced Sr. Project Manager to join our National Industrial team. This critical role will oversee project teams to meet goals, budgets and deliver the highest customer satisfaction on specialized facilities such as highโ€‘tech manufacturing plants, laboratories, or biotech production sites with cleanrooms, R&D labs or advanced manufacturing lines, integrating cuttingโ€‘edge systems.

Responsibilities
  • Develop contacts and quickly build relationships with potential customers.
  • Effectively negotiate business and legal provisions of construction contracts.
  • Consistently achieve high levels of quality, design and profitability on projects assigned to the team.
  • Ensure the teamโ€™s accounts receivables are managed effectively and collected promptly.
  • Resolve team warranty issues promptly and effectively.
  • Obey all general team administrative responsibilities accurately and timely.
  • Participate or lead owner/client presentations and negotiations.
  • Oversee design development, budget preparation and the development of project schedules.
  • Supervise team of Project Engineers, Sr. Project Engineers, Project Managers I & II, and Project Assistants as required.
  • Play a key role in developing procurement strategy, including preparing bid documents, negotiating and awarding subcontracts.
Qualifications
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (advanced degrees are a plus).
  • At least 10 years of project management experience in the commercial construction industry (industrial preferred).
  • Advanced knowledge of construction means and methods, building types, estimating, scheduling, cost control, material pricing and design management.
  • Experience leading science and technology projects such as labs, data centers or R&D facilities.
  • Proven ability to manage teams successfully and profitably.
  • Strong ability to make effective and convincing formal sales presentations.
  • Skill to delegate appropriate type and amount of work to others, balancing big picture and immediate responsibilities.
Compensation

The salary range is $140,000 - $180,000. The base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidateโ€™s knowledge, skills and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation, including commission and/or an incentive program.
