Job description

Make an immediate impact supporting students and staff as an experienced Special Education professional in a contract position near Minneapolis, MN. This dynamic opportunity is well-suited for those who thrive in collaborative, student-centered environments, and are deeply invested in compliance, effective communication, and fostering positive relationships.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Minnesota teaching license in at least one of: Emotional Behavioral Disorders, Learning Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Deaf or Hard of Hearing, or Oral/Aural Education (applicable grade ranges).
  • Minimum of 3 years’ teaching experience in special education.
  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within school teams.
  • Proficient in computer use, data entry, and office procedures.
  • Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Successful completion of background check and drug screening.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred Experience:

  • At least 3 years of administrative background in education.
  • Prior experience supporting children from diverse cultural backgrounds in urban school environments.
