Registered Nurse (RN) - Pediatric Intermediate Care Unit (PIMC)

Where You Will Work:
Our Pediatric Intermediate Care Unit has 7 IMC beds and 8 acute care/IMC overflow beds. This unit provides evidence-based, family-centered care for children who require close monitoring and specialized interventions but do not need intensive care. With a focus on bridging the gap between acute care and critical care, our nurses manage patients with complex medical needs, including those recovering from critical illness or requiring advanced respiratory support. We are committed to delivering exceptional care in a collaborative environment that values teamwork, continuous quality improvement, and inclusivity-where every team member belongs and every family feels supported.
We're Looking For:
  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • REQUIRED: 1+ years of RN experience
  • Strongly preferred: 1+ years of critical care experience

  • As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
