Job description


Responsibilities:
  1. The Imaging System Specialist must possess a strong background in radiology operations as well as an understanding of operating systems software.
  2. The Imaging System Specialist will serve as the PACS liaison and must demonstrate above average interpersonal skills to interact with users of all skill levels as well as Vendors and Medical Center departments.
  3. Job responsibilities include training all levels of users, identification, analysis, and resolution of issues related to PACS, provision of technical support, participation in on-call rotation, participation in product evaluations, audits, reports and recommendations for radiology.
  4. Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Six (6) years radiology experience required or related bachelor's degree and four (4) years radiology experience or equivalent combination.
  • Prior RIS or PACS experience.
