Job description

SUMMARY

This position is responsible to, working independently; perform repairs and preventative maintenance as assigned.ย  The also requires the maintenance of appropriate records and reports about the work performed.ย 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performs repairs and calibrations to most diagnostic and therapeutic medical equipment and completes all needed records for the work.
  • Solves problems using analytical skills and knowledge of the customersโ€™ contracts.
  • Keeps all the required reporting, generating records of the activities performed
  • Assists JR personnel as required.
  • Researches resources and supplies, while interacting with vendors.
  • Maintains a neat and orderly work area.
  • Takes advantage of all educational opportunities provided.
  • Conducts him/herself in a professional manner during all customer and internal company interaction.
  • Comports himself with respect and concern for all customers, including hospital patients, visitors and other employees.
  • ย Assumes management responsibilities during absence of Senior Service Manager
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Must have at least a two year or Associates Degree from an accredited school of electronics or
    Radiology Technology.
  • Must have at least 10 year years of related experience in the Imaging field

TYPICAL PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS

Requires frequent (60% to 80% of the time) standing, walking, and bending for long periods of time. Requires frequent (40% to 60% of the time) sitting and working on a computer screen. Requires constant ability to drive and move freely about the customerโ€™s offices which could include climbing stairs and reaching in cabinets. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range. Lifts up to 50 pounds regularly.

TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS

Requires constant contact with staff and public. Work is performed in air conditioned/heated facilities. Requires exposure to outside elements up to 10% of the time.

TYPICAL TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

This position requires regular travel to perform work.ย  May require more than 50% travel (ground and air) with some over-night travel necessary.ย  Must maintain an active state driverโ€™s license and the ability to be covered on our company auto insurance plan.ย ย ย ย ย ย
