SUMMARYย ย 

Responsiblefor workingindependently in providing repairs and preventative maintenance for hospital clientsโ€™diagnostic imagingequipment. This position isrequiredtomaintainrecords, documentresults,andcoordinateoutside resources for repairs. Response times are measured to achieve customerrequirements andsatisfaction.ย 

DUTIESย & RESPONSIBILITIESย 

  • Performs repairs and calibrations todiagnostic imaging equipmentandmaintainsassociated recordsbyfilingaccurateandtimelyreportswithDispatcher.ย 

  • Responsible for one or more of the following devices: general X-ray, CT, MRI, digital X-ray, ultrasound, mammography, and mobile X-ray.ย 

  • Solve problemsutilizinganalytical thoughtprocesseswhich may involve multiple contactswith internal and external resources.ย 

  • Assistotherpersonnelasrequired.ย 

  • Interactswith vendors. Researchresources and suppliers.ย 

  • Completesfacilityand companypolicy and procedureguidelines.ย 

  • Maintains work area in a neat and orderly fashion.ย 

  • Conducts andย maintainsย duties, personal appearance, interactions with fellow employees, staff, and customers in aprofessional manner.ย 

  • Complyย withongoing educational opportunities provided.Useunassigned time to increase knowledge on technology and procedures.ย

PREFERREDย EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONSย 

  • At least five (5)ย yearsย imaging related experience or a combination ofย imaging related work experience and specialized training.ย 

  • Two-yeardegree from an accredited school in electronicsor equivalent military experience.ย 

  • Completedan internshipwithan accreditedprogram.ย 

ย PREFERREDย SKILLSย 

  • Ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with diverse audiences, both in person and in writing.ย 

  • Strong attention to detail โ€” able to spot inconsistencies, follow processes precisely, and ensure accuracy in data entry.ย 

  • Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Comfort navigating software tools to input, retrieve, and analyze maintenance-related data.ย 

  • Comprehensive technical skill setย specific to imagingย equipmentย and hardware repair.ย 

WORKING CONDITIONSย ย 

  • Requires constant contact with staff andthe public.ย ย 

  • Work is performed in air conditioned/heated facilities.ย ย 

  • Requires exposure to outside elements up to 10% of the time.ย
