We're looking for an Imaging Center Hospitality Supervisor to lead the front desk team at our Centreville Imaging Center. In this role, you'll oversee daily hospitality operations, coach and develop your team, solve challenges in real time, and create an exceptional experience for every patient and visitor.

What You'll Do
Lead the Hospitality Team
  • Supervise the daily operations of the Imaging Center Hospitality team.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop Hospitality Associates.
  • Lead onboarding and training for new team members.
  • Create staff schedules and ensure appropriate daily coverage.
  • Review and approve employee timecards and leave requests.
  • Coach employees on service recovery techniques and hospitality standards.
  • Maintain a visible, approachable leadership presence while supporting staff throughout the day.
  • Communicate clear expectations, provide ongoing feedback, and foster a positive, accountable team culture.
  • Partner with center leadership to continually improve patient experience and front desk operations.
Champion the Patient Experience
  • Welcome every patient and visitor with professionalism, warmth, and compassion.
  • Respond promptly to patient complaints, delays, and service concerns.
  • Listen actively, acknowledge each patient's experience, and take ownership of resolving concerns whenever possible.
  • De-escalate challenging situations with empathy, professionalism, and sound judgment.
  • Monitor patient flow and waiting times while proactively communicating delays.
  • Identify recurring patient service concerns and recommend process improvements that enhance the overall patient experience.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception environment.
Support Daily Operations
  • Register patients accurately using the Radiology Information System (RIS).
  • Verify physician orders, insurance information, and authorizations.
  • Collect payments and required documentation.
  • Schedule imaging appointments and walk-in X-ray exams as needed.
  • Answer incoming calls using Fairfax Radiology's customer service standards.
  • Assist with medical record requests, DVDs, and other administrative functions.
  • Lead the front desk through workflow disruptions or system downtimes while maintaining exceptional patient service.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and organizational policies.
Leadership Qualifications
We're looking for a leader who combines exceptional hospitality with operational excellence and is passionate about developing others while delivering an outstanding patient experience.
Qualifications include:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of customer service or hospitality experience, preferably in healthcare.
  • Minimum of 3 years of healthcare administrative experience required.
  • Previous supervisory, lead, or team leadership experience preferred.
  • Radiology or specialty practice experience preferred.
  • Strong computer proficiency and the ability to learn multiple healthcare systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

Compensation
Based on your qualifications and experience, the compensation range for this position is:
$22.10 - $29.00 per hour
Placement within the range is determined by factors including experience, education, certifications, and internal equity.
