Job description

PRN MRI Technologist

Lumexa Imaging partner American Health Imaging is seeking an ARRT registered MRI Technologist to join our team on a PRN basis at our Augusta outpatient imaging center. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced MRI professional who is committed to delivering exceptional patient care while producing high-quality diagnostic imaging in a collaborative outpatient environment.

What You'll Do

  • Perform high-quality MRI examinations in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
  • Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of MRI safety, anatomy, and imaging techniques.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including IV administration when appropriate.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and clinical team members to deliver exceptional service and quality care.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all regulatory and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • ARRT registered with advanced certification in MRI (ARRT-MR) required.
  • Previous experience as an MRI Technologist preferred.
  • Current CPR certification required.
  • IV certification/skills required.
  • Strong understanding of cross-sectional anatomy and MRI imaging principles.
