Envision Imaging is looking for PRN Ultrasound Technologist to join our team in Utah!

PRN (As-Needed) | Position Pay Range $41.46 - $49.95
Shifts available between both Bountiful and Draper locations

Summary/Objective

Performs ultrasound procedures to adult and pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders. Assists Radiologist during specialized exams to obtain images at a satisfactory level with minimal supervision.

Essential Functions
  • Interfaces with patient to ascertain medical history and provides instructions and explanation of the procedure and/or exam to obtain the best possible image.
  • Reviews patient charts for missed clinical information and/or consent. Screens patients for surgical and other implants, contrast allergies, etc.
  • Performs ultrasound scans and prints images while attending to patient’s care before, during and following exam and notifies the appropriate party if patient’s condition changes at any time.
  • Assists Radiologist on specialized exams.
  • Transfers images to other locations as needed.
  • Coordinates scan protocols with Radiologist.Lottery ; fixed? Actually will output correct lines.
  • Maintains and regularly inspects equipment and immediately reports any quality concerns as well as equipment failures or deficiencies.
  • Interfaces with Lead Technologist & Center/Area Manager regarding any and all departmental concerns.

This position has no supervision responsibilities.

Physical Demands

Job Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications/Experience:

  • Two plus years’ experience in Ultrasound- preferred
  • Ability to educate patients on procedures being performed
  • Detail oriented, self-motivated, a problem solver and a team player
  • Ability to excel in a very fast-pace team environment
  • Ability to continuously “exceed” company and customer expectation
Education/Certifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Sonography program
  • Current ARDMS Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or ARRT (VS) registry – preferred
  • Current license from state medical board (if applicable)
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
