Job Title: CT Technologist
Location: Chapel Hill, NC 27514
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 4x10-Hour Nights (08:00 PM - 06:30 AM)
Hours: 40 Hours/Week
Guaranteed Hours: Dependent on Facility Requirements
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced CT Technologist to perform CT imaging procedures and provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for patient care, image acquisition, contrast administration, image processing, and maintaining workflow efficiency.
Responsibilities
  • Perform CT scans according to established protocols.
  • Verify patient identification and obtain patient history.
  • Ensure patient safety and document pregnancy status when applicable.
  • Produce high-quality diagnostic images and perform image reconstruction.
  • Administer oral and IV contrast following facility protocols.
  • Establish IV access and review lab values before contrast administration.
  • Transfer and verify images through PACS, EMR, and related systems.
  • Complete, modify, and cancel imaging orders as required.
  • Maintain accurate patient demographics and charge information.
  • Review patient charts and reports for correlation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Assist with workflow management and scheduling.
  • Precept and train new employees and students.
Requirements
Education
  • Completion of an accredited Radiological Science program.
Certifications
  • ARRT Registered or Registry Eligible.
  • Advanced CT Certification required.
  • Current BLS (Healthcare Provider) certification required.
  • Registry-eligible candidates must provide a diploma from an accredited program.
  • Must maintain registry status and continuing education requirements.
Experience
  • Previous education, training, or experience demonstrating the ability to perform CT imaging duties.
