Job Title: CT Technologist - Evening & Night Shift
Location: Manhattan, New York
Job Type: Contract Assignment
Duration: 9 Weeks (Possible Extension)
Schedule
  • Monday - Friday
  • Shift Options:
    • 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM
    • 12:00 AM - 8:00 AM
Compensation
  • Pay Rate: $60 - $85/hour
    Based on experience.
Position Overview
A healthcare facility in Manhattan, New York is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join its radiology department for an evening or overnight contract assignment. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality CT imaging services while ensuring patient safety and compliance with imaging protocols.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform CT imaging procedures according to physician orders and department standards
  • Ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging using appropriate technical settings
  • Perform daily equipment quality control and calibration checks
  • Maintain compliance with radiation safety and ALARA principles
  • Accurately document patient imaging records and procedure logs
  • Support radiologists with timely image processing and retrieval
  • Respond appropriately to patient needs before, during, and after procedures
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care
Qualifications
  • Active New York State License (L.R.T.) required
  • ARRT Certification in Radiography and CT required
  • Current BLS Certification required
  • Minimum 1 year of CT experience required
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program preferred
