The Camera Software team focuses on user-experience, utilizing computer vision and image processing through machine learning...Our team works hard on products that ship to millions of people. We are looking for people who want to do the same. The Camera Software team provides the capture and camera foundation across all of Apple's innovative devices. We aim to deliver an unsurpassed media experience by combining forward-leaning software techniques with the latest innovations in hardware.
Camera frameworks engineers are the driving force behind shipping great camera features. As part of the team, you contribute to all facets of new features, including feature definitions, interface definitions, implementation, integration, and testing. Collaborating cross-functionally is at the core of our team and plays a vital role in delivering the quality that we expect. This includes image quality, responsiveness, performance, efficiency, and overall end-user experience. Engineers on our team consider these aspects with every change they make.
Proficiency in C, C++, and/or Objective-C.Experience in software development and debugging in embedded environmentsPassionate and inquisitive. Seek to solve everyday problems in innovative waysExperience and/or coursework in image processing or imaging pipelinesStrong collaborative and communication skills. Passionate about working in larger cross-functional teams.
