Position Summary

The Senior Manager, Fiber Services is a high-impact leadership role responsible for building and scaling OmniOn's services execution model for fiber infrastructure and ILA power deployment programs supporting hyperscale and telecom customers.

This role will guide the services organization in fulfilling the technical, operational, and execution requirements associated with large-scale fiber ILA power rollouts. The successful candidate will work closely with the Fiber Products Business Unit, Service Delivery, Sales, Quotation, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and external partners to ensure OmniOn can deliver repeatable, high-quality, cost-effective services at scale.

The ideal candidate brings strong services execution experience, field operations discipline, customer program leadership, and a practical understanding of power systems deployed in fiber, telecom, or mission-critical infrastructure environments. This leader will translate customer requirements, deployment schedules, site conditions, and field execution needs into scalable processes, resource plans, partner models, and operating rhythms.

This position requires strong operational ownership, customer focus, technical aptitude, program discipline, and the ability to lead cross-functionally in a fast-moving, matrixed organization.

This role will report to the GM & SVP of Core Products and be located at OmniOn Power's HQ in Plano, TX

Key Responsibilities

Fiber Services Execution & Deployment Readiness

  • Lead the services execution model for fiber ILA power deployment programs across strategic hyperscale and telecom customers.
  • Develop repeatable deployment processes, work instructions, resource models, and execution standards for ILA power site services.
  • Partner with Technical Services Delivery, Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain to ensure site readiness, installation readiness, and field execution quality.
  • Establish clear handoffs between quoting, order management, materials readiness, field deployment, commissioning, and closeout.
  • Identify gaps in current services capabilities and build scalable solutions to support broader fiber infrastructure growth.

Customer Program Leadership

  • Serve as the services execution leader for strategic fiber infrastructure customer programs.
  • Translate customer requirements, schedules, technical standards, and field expectations into actionable services plans.
  • Support customer reviews, deployment meetings, issue resolution, escalation management, and performance reporting.
  • Ensure OmniOn's services organization is responsive, reliable, and aligned to the execution needs of large-scale infrastructure customers.
  • Drive a high level of customer confidence through disciplined communication, predictable delivery, and strong ownership of field outcomes.

Operational Process & Field Execution

  • Build and improve operating rhythms to manage deployment schedules, site readiness, resource availability, issue tracking, and program risk.
  • Develop installation and commissioning standards in partnership with engineering and field service teams.
  • Establish performance metrics for safety, quality, schedule adherence, first-time-right execution, cost-to-serve, and customer satisfaction.
  • Drive corrective actions and lessons learned to improve execution consistency across sites and programs.
  • Ensure field teams and partners have the tools, documentation, training, and escalation paths needed to deliver successfully.

Partner & Resource Model Development

  • Help define OmniOn's internal and external services capacity model for fiber ILA deployment work.
  • Evaluate where to use internal field resources, subcontractors, certified partners, or hybrid delivery models.
  • Support partner qualification, onboarding, training, performance management, and quality governance.
  • Work with Supply Chain and Operations to ensure labor, materials, logistics, and site support requirements are aligned to deployment schedules.
  • Build scalable resource planning processes to support current anchor customer needs and future market expansion.

Commercial & Business Alignment

  • Partner with Sales, Quotation, Finance, and Services Strategy to ensure deployment assumptions, scope definitions, pricing inputs, and cost models reflect real execution requirements.
  • Provide field-informed feedback to improve quote quality, margin discipline, and scope clarity.
  • Support RFQs, RFPs, customer proposals, and program bids related to fiber ILA services and critical power deployment.
  • Identify opportunities to standardize service packages, improve cost-to-serve, and expand lifecycle service offerings.
  • Help position OmniOn as a trusted services partner for fiber infrastructure, telecom, and hyperscale power deployment programs.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Partner closely with Engineering to ensure product, installation, and commissioning requirements are aligned with field realities.
  • Work with Operations and Supply Chain to improve material readiness, logistics planning, and execution predictability.
  • Collaborate with Services Strategy to convert field execution learnings into scalable offers, service packages, and future growth opportunities.
  • Align internal stakeholders around program priorities, customer commitments, risks, and execution plans.
  • Lead through influence across a highly matrixed organization.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in services operations, field service leadership, deployment operations, telecom infrastructure, power systems, construction services, or mission-critical infrastructure.
  • Experience leading large-scale field deployment programs involving multiple sites, customers, subcontractors, or cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of services execution, installation readiness, commissioning, field quality, and customer program management.
  • Demonstrated ability to build scalable processes, operating rhythms, and resource models in a growing services environment.
  • Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage customer escalations, program risks, execution gaps, and cross-functional dependencies with urgency and professionalism.
  • Willingness to travel as required to customer sites, project locations, partner locations, and OmniOn facilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in fiber infrastructure, ILA sites, telecom shelters, central office power, data center infrastructure, or hyperscale network deployment.
  • Familiarity with DC power systems, rectifiers, batteries, power distribution, grounding, installation, and commissioning practices.
  • Experience supporting strategic hyperscale, telecom, cloud, or large enterprise infrastructure customers.
  • Prior leadership of field services, technical services, deployment operations, construction services, or implementation teams.
  • Experience building subcontractor, certified installer, or partner delivery models.
  • Strong understanding of cost-to-serve, quote assumptions, scope control, change orders, and margin improvement.
  • Experience with safety, quality, site readiness, field documentation, and project closeout processes.
  • Ability to operate effectively in both strategic planning discussions and detailed execution reviews.

Success Measures

The successful candidate will help OmniOn:

  • Deliver strategic fiber ILA power services deployment programs with stronger schedule, quality, and cost performance.
  • Build a repeatable services execution model that can scale beyond the initial customer programs.
  • Improve alignment between quoting, engineering, materials readiness, field execution, and customer commitments.
  • Increase customer confidence in OmniOn's ability to support large-scale fiber infrastructure rollouts.
  • Reduce execution variability through better processes, training, partner governance, and operating discipline.
  • Create a foundation for future services growth in fiber, telecom, hyperscale, and mission-critical infrastructure markets.

Why This Role Matters

Fiber infrastructure is becoming a critical enabler of AI, cloud, telecom, and hyperscale network growth. High-performance optical networks depend on reliable power, disciplined field execution, and scalable infrastructure deployment models.
