Job description

Job Title: Senior Application Infrastructure Engineer

Location: Northville, MI – Onsite for initial 2 months, then Remote

Job Description:-

We are looking for a hands-on Senior Application Infrastructure Engineer to support the recovery, rebuild, configuration, and lift-and-shift of enterprise applications to newly provisioned infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong Windows/IIS expertise and the ability to troubleshoot application environments end-to-end across load balancing, networking, application hosting, databases, identity, and integrations while coordinating with Network, DBA, IAM, and application teams.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server and IIS, including application pools, bindings, SSL certificates, services, and application hosting.
  • Experience with enterprise application deployment, recovery, environment rebuilds, and lift-and-shift/infrastructure migrations.
  • Experience with NetScaler (Citrix ADC), load balancers, DNS, Active Directory, and network connectivity troubleshooting.
  • Working knowledge of SQL Server application connectivity, connection strings, authentication, ports, and related troubleshooting.
  • Exposure to CyberArk, MFA, IAM, service accounts, and application authentication/authorization.
  • Strong end-to-end troubleshooting skills across Load Balancer/DNS → IIS → Application → Database → IAM → Integrations.
  • Experience with MoveIT/SFTP, file-transfer integrations, APIs, or other enterprise application dependenciesis preferred.
  • Exposure to Azure Front Door, Application Gateway, or Azure/hybrid infrastructure is preferred; must be able to work independently and coordinate effectively across infrastructure and application teams.

 

 

Educational Qualifications:

  • Required - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or closely related or equivalent.
  • Preferred - Master’s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Big Data or Analytics or equivalent.

 

Travel:

·   Open to travel based up on the nature of the engagement.
