Job description

IHS Locum Tenens Primary Care Opportunity - Phoenix Arizona
Specialty: Board Certified FP or IM (will not take Board Eligible)
Client:  Indian Health Service
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Dates coverage is needed:  as soon as onboarding is complete - 3 months with option to extend
Schedule/Shifts Times:   (1 hr lunch) or 4 - ten hour shifts - day off during the week will be determined once onboarding nears completion
Call Requirements: None 
% inpatient / % outpatient: Outpatient only
Patient Volume:  12- 15 patients per day average
Patient Ages:  adults only 
Types of Cases: standard outpatient care, chronic illness treatment
Support Staff: yes (several Physicians, mid-levels, RN's and  specialty Physician support)
Procedures Required: None 
Type of Charting: EMR - RPMS
Requirements:  BLS, (through American Heart), DEA (fee paid, schedules 2-5)
Reason for Need: staff shortage
Credentialing Timeframe:  8-10 weeks on average
Additional Info:  any State License ; minimal gyn, only pap's and pelvic exams for symptoms as needed. No suturing.
