We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Mid/Sr. Refrigeration HVACR Technician to join our team and contribute to our mission of providing top-notch service solutions.

Job Summary:

The Refrigeration & HVAC (HVACR) Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the proper functioning of the refrigeration equipment while maintaining a high standard of service. The Refrigeration Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair(s) of the commercial refrigeration systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain refrigeration systems and equipment, including walk-in coolers, freezers, refrigerated display cases, ice machines, and HVACR systems
  • Document all work performed including but not limited to services reports, work orders by internal software
  • Respond to service calls in a timely manner
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks, such as cleaning coils, checking refrigerant levels, lubricating motors, and inspecting electrical components to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Test and calibrate refrigeration systems using specialized tools and equipment to verify proper operation and compliance with safety and performance standards
  • Collaborate with other technicians, engineers, and contractors to plan and execute refrigeration installations, upgrades, and retrofits

Skills and Qualifications:

  • EPA Universal 608 Certification is a must
  • 5 years previous (field) experience in similar role preferred
  • Ability to work independently/ as a part of a team
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures in accordance with industry regulations and company policies
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Documentation and reporting skills
  • Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time during shift
  • Can lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
  • Basic computer skills (electronic documentation)
