Job description

Aledo ISD recruits and hires new Guest/ Substitute candidates on a weekly basis.

Requirements:


  1. Uploaded Resume
  2. Three (3) professional references (no friends or family)              
  3. High School diploma / GED  OR
  4. Proof of Teacher certification (out of state or Texas certified), if applicable
  5. All subs must work a minimum of 12 days per school year to stay active (6 days per semester).

We must have completed references in order to move forward with your application. Please make sure your references know they will be receiving an email to complete once you have submitted your application. 
Next steps:
- Once processed you will receive a welcome email with more details.
- You will receive an email to have your fingerprints taken by TEA. This email will come after the welcome email should you not have prints on file with TEA. This will come from Identogo, not Aledo ISD.
- You will attend one of our orientations, an invite to the next one will be sent to you to RSVP.
- When we have received clear fingerprint results, and you have attended orientation, verbal references will be obtained. 
- When digital and verbal references have been received we will send your application for approval to hire as a substitute. 
- If approved you will receive paperwork to complete online and then come in to the office to sign final documents and pick up your iIDbadge.
