Advanced Vehicle Systems Diagnostics & Performance Specialist Company: HireNow Staffing (Direct Placement Partner) HireNow Snapshot HireNow Staffing is actively recruiting multiple Advanced Vehicle Systems Diagnostics & Performance Specialists to join one of our valued client partners in La Habra, California. This full-time onsite opportunity is ideal for experienced automotive professionals who excel at diagnosing complex vehicle issues, performing precision repairs, and delivering exceptional workmanship across domestic, Asian, and European vehicle platforms. The successful candidates will combine advanced diagnostic expertise with outstanding mechanical ability to identify root causes, complete quality repairs, and help maintain exceptional customer satisfaction. This position rewards technicians who consistently produce high-quality work while maximizing productivity through performance-based incentives. Key Responsibilities
  • Review repair orders and collaborate with service advisors to verify customer concerns.
  • Perform comprehensive vehicle inspections using advanced diagnostic equipment.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, drivability, and performance-related concerns across multiple vehicle manufacturers.
  • Develop accurate repair recommendations, labor estimates, and parts requirements.
  • Complete repairs involving engines, drivetrains, suspension, steering, braking, HVAC, electrical, and electronic systems.
  • Install replacement components while following manufacturer specifications and industry best practices.
  • Document diagnostic findings, repair procedures, inspection results, and quality verification accurately.
  • Utilize Identifix and other technical resources to support complex diagnostics.
  • Perform quality control inspections prior to vehicle delivery.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while following established safety procedures.
Required Qualifications
  • 5–10 years of professional automotive repair experience (candidates with 3–4 years demonstrating exceptional diagnostic ability may also be considered).
  • Strong diagnostic experience servicing domestic, Asian, and German vehicles.
  • Advanced electrical diagnostic abilities.
  • Experience utilizing Identifix or comparable automotive diagnostic software.
  • Ability to accurately diagnose complex mechanical and electrical failures.
  • Personal ownership of professional automotive tools appropriate for advanced diagnostics and repairs.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Experience safely operating automotive shop equipment.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and customer service skills.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • U.S. citizens only.
