About the Role:
As a Home Health Aide (HHA/PCA) with Ideal Home Care, you'll be responsible for providing Assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. You'll also assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication management. Our ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
โข Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
โข Provide light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication management assistance
โข Assist with mobility and ambulation, including transfers and range of motion exercises
โข Maintain accurate and timely records of client care
โข Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
โข Demonstrate a strong commitment to delivering exceptional client care and service
Requirements:
- Current certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Aide (PCA) in the state of New York
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
