Job description

We are hiring several professional and motivated field engineers who are team players and fast learners, and able to deliver precise and detailed work in 7x24 basis.
Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for ensuring availability and reliability of multiple data centers to meet the requirements of enterprise operation.
2. Install, configure and upgrade routers, switches, servers as well as map out, run and connect all LAN and SAN fiber optic network cabling.
3. Perform ongoing calibration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of enterprise servers running on Red-Hat Linux to ensure proper performance levels are sustained.
4. Analyze and monitor system health, responded appropriately to network alerts and events, use the standard ticket-handling procedures to escalate a ticket upstream when appropriate.
5. Assist in the data center migration between different sites by racking, labeling both physically and logically on asset management application, using an ITL-based configuration and change management process
6. Support data center capacity planning and construction by conducting power/cooling audits on data halls to validate available capacity for rack infills
7. Record and maintain accurate incident and change records to safeguard the quality of operations along with escorting vendors and ensuring client policies are followed
Requirements:
1. Experienced in server installation and network configuration
2. Familiar with TCP/IP, switching, routing, and optical communication technology
3. 3+ year work experience in maintenance & operation at an IDC or Network Center
4. Trouble-shooting and problem solving abilities.
5. Must have at least a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field
6. Speaking Chinese Mandarin is a plus
