Job Description

As a Security Officer in Oak Creek, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support access control operations that help to protect people, property, and daily operations. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and deliver strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and staff by following site-specific access control procedures, badge and credential checks, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor entry and exit points for employees, contractors, and delivery personnel to help to deter unauthorized access and support security-related procedures at the location.
  • Verify identification, visitor logs, shipment paperwork, and/or vehicle information in accordance with post orders and established access control protocols.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including gates, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, as directed by site-specific policies.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
