Job Title: RN - ICU (Float Pool)
Location: Cincinnati, OH
Type: Contract | 8 Weeks (With high possibility of extension or permanent placement)
Shift & Schedule: Night Shift | 3x12 Hours | 36 Hours Per Week | Rotating Every Other Weekend Required

Pay Rate:
Local Pay: $45.00 - $50.00/hour
Traveler Pay: $55.00 - $60.00/hour

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking an RN - ICU (Float Pool) for an exciting Travel or Local job in Ohio.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive physical, psychosocial, spiritual, and educational assessments of critically ill patients.

  • Monitor patient conditions and identify complex signs, symptoms, and physiological changes.

  • Report critical findings and significant changes in patient status promptly.

  • Execute multidisciplinary clinical handoffs utilizing SBAR communication standards.

  • Assess patient, family, and environmental safety risks and initiate preventive interventions.

  • Develop, coordinate, and modify individualized multidisciplinary plans of care.

  • Initiate discharge planning and coordinate appropriate clinical referrals.

  • Deliver evidence-based nursing interventions and maintain clinical accountability.

  • Respond effectively to critical care emergencies in high-acuity environments.

  • Adhere to infection control practices, patient safety standards, and nursing ethics.

Required Qualifications

  • Diploma in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program.

  • Active Ohio Registered Nurse License or Multi-State Compact License.

  • BLS Certification through the American Heart Association.

  • Recent strong clinical experience in an intensive care setting (MICU, SICU, or CVICU).

  • Ability and willingness to float between critical care units as needed.

  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and clinical assessment skills.

  • Proven ability to provide age-specific and culturally competent patient care.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

  • ACLS Certification.

  • CCRN Certification.

  • Previous ICU Float Pool experience.
