Job description

Job Requisition: Senior Project Manager (PM)

Location: Hybrid / On-site as required (DC Metro Area)

Position Overview

G2 Global Solutions LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager (PM) to provide end-to-end program and project management leadership in support of DoD initiatives. The PM role serves as the focal point for management, coordination, quality assurance, and execution oversight across Agile software development and sustainment efforts. The PM is responsible for applying a holistic, Agile-based project management approach that ensures visibility, compliance, and mission continuity across the full project life cycle.

This position is contingent upon contract award.

Primary Responsibilities:

Program & Project Leadership

  • Serve as the main point of contact to the Government customer for all project execution activities, providing leadership, direction, and contract administrative oversight.
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, Agile and DevSecOps practices, ensuring continuous visibility into cost, schedule, scope, and technical performance.
  • Disseminate Government customer guidance to contractor staff and ensure consistent execution across all workstreams.
  • Support team building, communications, time management, quality assurance, quality control, risk management, configuration management, and software integration.

Planning, Scheduling & Reporting

  • Develop, maintain, and execute a Project Management Plan (PMP) aligned with established project management frameworks and approved handbooks.
  • Produce and manage an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) reflecting sprint cadence, dependencies, milestone checkpoints, and critical paths.
  • Lead and participate in Weekly IPRs, Monthly Status Meetings, Schedule Reviews, and Stakeholder Reviews.
  • Track and report project metrics, risks, mitigations, and performance trends.

Requirements, Integration & Documentation

  • Coordinate requirements, project plans, schedules, briefings, and documentation with all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure all contract requirements and documentation align with established Requirements Management Business Processes.
  • Maintain a current operational documentation library, including logs, procedures, scripts, monitoring tools, and technical documentation.

Collaboration Tools & Knowledge Management

  • Develop and maintain a project collaboration site (SharePoint) that supports version control and collaborative editing.
  • Ensure the site includes:
    • Project overview documentation
    • Schedules and dashboards
    • Release notes and test cases
    • Meeting agendas, summaries, and action items
    • Assignments and points of contact
    • AI integration activities and artifacts

Governance, Architecture & Compliance

  • Coordinate project activities with relevant customer governance and oversight functions, including security, architecture, quality assurance, configuration management, IT operations, and Data Governance.
  • Produce and maintain DoDAF / SPARX architecture artifacts (e.g., DIV-3, SV-1, SV-2) compliance standards.
  • Support architecture reviews and updates throughout design and change cycles.
  • Ensure adherence to Business Process Re-Engineering (BPR) workflows and tools (SPARX EA, Microsoft Project Server, ServiceNow).

Work Breakdown Structure & Execution Control

  • Develop and maintain a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) aligned with contract requirements and Software Development Plan.
  • Define task scope, ownership, deliverables, timelines, and performance standards.
  • Support Government review and approval of WBS artifacts.

Section 508 & Accessibility Compliance

  • Ensure all ICT deliverables comply with Section 508 and WCAG 2.0 Level AA requirements.
  • Oversee accessibility testing, remediation, and documentation throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Produce and maintain VPATs, accessibility test results, remediation plans, and compliance reporting.
  • Support DoD acceptance testing related to accessibility compliance.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum 10 years of project or program management experience supporting DoD or Federal IT programs.
  • Demonstrated experience serving as Prime Contractor PM or Key Personnel.
  • Strong working knowledge of Agile methodologies, DevSecOps practices, and SDLC governance.
  • Experience developing PMPs, IMS schedules, WBS structures, and executive-level status reporting.
  • Hands-on experience with SharePoint, Microsoft Project Server, ServiceNow, and SPARX Enterprise Architect.
  • Proven ability to coordinate across multiple governance bodies and stakeholder organizations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including briefing senior government leadership.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe, or Scrum Master certification.
  • Experience supporting large enterprise DoD data systems.
  • Experience with DoDAF, enterprise architecture modeling, and data governance frameworks.
  • Experience managing Section 508 compliance and VPAT development.
