Job description

Purpose: The Reciprocal & Municipal Account Specialist is responsible for establishing, managing, and supporting deposit relationships for Municipal and Reciprocal clients to strengthen and expand overall client relationships. This role collaborates closely with Relationship Managers and the Treasury Department to ensure seamless service delivery and effective relationship management.
Essential Functions:
  • Coordinate the onboarding, account opening, and ongoing maintenance of Municipal, ICS, and CDARS relationships in accordance with bank policies and procedures.
  • Manage daily operational activities and process ICS and CDARS transactions through the IntraFi portal, ensuring accuracy and compliance with customer instructions and approvals.
  • Monitor Reciprocal balances to ensure adherence to ALCO policy and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain account documentation, including the collection of signatures and required supporting materials.
  • Support the implementation and servicing of Treasury Management and Digital Banking products for Municipal and Reciprocal clients.
  • Assist with submitting bond bids, coordinating bond closings and renewals, and processing bond payments.
  • Utilize Salesforce to manage, track, and report workload and service requests.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with client financial teams, including CFOs, controllers, and accounting personnel.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly, accurately, and in a manner consistent with the bank's service standards.
  • Demonstrate the standards and principles of the Five Star Bank experience in every interaction with internal and external customers, associates, and stakeholders. Incorporate the high-performance behaviors of teamwork, leading by example, and service in every facet of work.
Job Related Qualifications:
Required:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
  • Prior Experience: 1+ Years of Financial Analysis, or Credit Analysis in Financial industry
  • Licenses or Accreditation: Any required licenses or accreditation required

  • Collaboration: Works effectively with Relationship Managers, Treasury, and other internal departments to deliver a seamless client experience.
  • Communication: Communicates clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing, with clients and internal stakeholders.
